Geoffrey F. Uttmark
Founder & President

Geoff Uttmark's entire career is invested in shipping. Prior to forming TransTech in 1979, he was a Shipping Analyst / New Ship Sales Engineer at Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, Chester, PA, and a Naval Architect at Sparkman & Stephens, Inc., New York. Prior to attending the University of Michigan where he studied Naval Architecture and Economics, receiving BSc, from the College of Engineering in 1973, Geoff sailed aboard U.S. break bulk, roll-on / roll-off, container and tanker vessels and aboard a Great Lakes research vessel and coastal passenger ferries. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master Mariner's license to command vessels on Lakes, Bays, Sounds and in Near Coastal waters up to 200 gross registered tons. In 1982 Geoff earned a Diploma in Ship Chartering and Brokerage from the American Association of Ship Brokers and Agents.

In 1992 / 1993 Geoff was employed as Assistant to the Chairman of Oak Steamship Company, Hong Kong where he liaised with investment bankers to successfully float a Eurodollar 100 million callable, convertible bond issued by an affiliated company. From Hong Kong Geoff relocated to London to sit the MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance at The City University. His thesis on when and how the shipyard should seek or accept an ownership stake in a newbuilding project was awarded honors and was presented at the 12th Annual International Piraeus Conference of Shipowners. After returning to the U.S., Geoff spent five years as Director - Equity Research at Marine Money International before recommitting full time to TransTech.

In addition to operating TransTech, Geoff is adjunct professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, where he teaches Economic Issues in Maritime Systems. He has taught Fundamentals of Tanker Chartering and Brokerage at the Graduate Management Transportation School (GMATS), U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Fundamentals of Port Planning at the World Trade Institute, New York and has lectured on Fundamentals of General Cargo Liner Shipping at Columbia University's Center for Energy, Marine Transportation and Public Policy. George Krivine
Financial Strategist

Mr. Krivine is a U.S. registered securities professional, holding active NASD Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses. In seventeen years on Wall Street at firms that include White, Weld; Merrill Lynch; Baird, Patrick & Co.; and Prestige Status, Inc., Mr. Krivine gained extensive experience with New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), NASDAQ (Level II and Instinet) OTC Bulletin Board, and the unlisted "Pink Sheets" market listing requirements. Direct responsibilities included monitoring options transactions, balancing accounts and firm compliance.

Mr. Krivine has in-depth knowledge of all U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) corporate filings, with specific focus on those pertaining to equity issues, including initial public offerings (IPO), reverse take over transactions (RTO), and corporate restructurings utilizing both traditional and no- traditional finance strategies.

Mr. Krivine joined TransTech in 1995. He has worked on private placement memoranda (PPM), IPO, RTO and other capitalization strategies for clients in specialty shipping containers, marine transport services and advanced marine propulsion systems. Mr. Krivine is co-author of JOE (Judge of Equities), a proprietary computer model developed by TransTech to forecast equity values for client companies based on organic growth and / or strategic mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Krivine earned a BA from Rutgers University in 1977.
